Dr. John R. Ashburn Jr., Ph.D

John is a retired Naval Officer and Licensed Clinical Psychologist and has 15 years of experience working with military and forensic populations. He specializes in PTSD, Substance Abuse Issues, Risk and Recidivism Assessment, and Mental Health evaluations. His evaluations are utilized in determining risk levels and treatment needs, and can assist in recommendations for dispositions, treatment, and community monitoring. John is additionally an OASAS approved provider and is able to provide succinct and useful evaluations for adolescent and adult clients

Dr. Jaimee Arnoff, Ph.D.

Dr. Jaimee Arnoff, Ph.D.

Jaimee has 10 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families and specializes in Psychoeducational Assessment and Family Court Evaluations. Jaimee is also fluent in American Sign Language and is able to provide assessment and evaluation to clients of varying hearing statuses. As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist, Jaimee is able to accurately provide comprehensive evaluations that can assist in finding better solutions and lessening conflict that can often be involved in family court matters

Anthony has a 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse issues and legal involvement. He is dedicated to helping clients identify and process triggers to substance abuse as well as helping clients implement appropriate coping skills which can prevent future relapses and resulting legal issues. He is certified in Substance Abuse Counseling and provides a collaborative and pragmatic approach to his assessment and treatment of clients.

Heather D. Murphy, MS

Heather has a 15 years of experience working with children, adults, and families and employs a compassionate but direct approach in her therapy and treatment. She is certified in Substance Abuse Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Couples Counseling, Supervised Visitation, and is dedicated to helping clients work through stress, conflict, and struggle in order for them to lead happier, safer, and more effective lives.

Traci Ashley, LCSW, CASAC

Traci Ashley, LCSW, CASAC

Traci has a 6 years of experience working with adolescent and adult clients and specializes in substance abuse issues and mental health assessment and treatment. As a Licensed Master Social Worker and Certified Substance Abuse Counselor, she is invested in helping clients reduce harmful behaviors and move beyond past substance abuse issues in order to keep both clients and their communities safer.

Yinaris Santana, AAS

Yinaris Santana, AAS

Yinaris 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and families in various social services and legal settings. She provides Spanish Interpretation Services to clients requiring or requesting it, and also provides supervised visitation to families involved in family court cases. She is certified in identifying child abuse and neglect and is dedicated to assisting our Spanish-speaking clients as well as providing safe and professional supervision for parents and children.

Katie has 10 years of experience managing busy practices, and understands the stress we all go through when trying to find time for all of our work, family, and personal responsibilities. She is dedicated to helping clients find time in their schedules to complete any assessment, evaluation, or treatment they may need.

All staff are considered a mandatory reporter and any indication of danger to self or others as well as any reports of abuse or violence may be reported to necessary authorities.
In general, any information regarding an individual’s health, private history, substance abuse, or psychiatric needs is HIPAA protected. We will protect all information as required to by federal law. However, most evaluations offered by our office require information to be submitted to additional parties outside of the individual (i.e., courts, attorneys, Community Supervision Officers, etc.) per the individuals needs and requests. These submissions indicate a lack of confidentiality only to the specific source the evaluation is released to, per the individual’s needs and requests.
Our services are not usually covered by insurance. We are a fee-for-service practice.
